The Arma Point Testing Process
Hook boardYou see a board full of Arma Point hooks in your local tackle shop, but have you ever thought about how these hooks came into production? Let us explain.

The initial concept to develop the Arma Point range originated back in 2004 when Fox was made aware of a new technology that could radically improve all existing carp hooks. The opportunity was there to use a new exclusive technology which included a tempering process that would radically increase the hook's strength and hardness. This, together with a number of top-secret ideas locked away at Fox HQ, gave us the opportunity to produce a truly special range of carp hooks!

It was then over to Fox's team of in-house product designers and carp consultants to develop the actual hook patterns. It was decided that six well-designed patterns would cover all possible carp fishing rig presentations.

Over a two-year period these revolutionary new carp hooks were tested and subsequently improved by Fox's team of carp consultants, including the likes of Ian Chillcott and Colin Davidson. It was only when all consultants were 100% happy with the results that the Arma Point range was launched to the general carp angling public.

Next time you enter a tackle shop to buy some carp hooks, have a think about whether any 'other' patterns have been designed and tested as extensively as the Fox Arma Point range. we think not!
